The game starts at 6:00pm at the Panther Arena. If we get enough registrants we will organize bus transportation from the ICC to the game

La Befana Children’s Party

Invited by the Wise Men to visit Baby Jesus, la Befana packed a basket with baked goods and gifts for the newborn child and grabbed her broom to help the new mother with cleaning.
After walking a long distance, angels appeared and gave her the gift of flight. She hopped on her broom and continued to search for the Christ Child. She is still searching to this very day, and every Epiphany, she visits homes throughout Italy, giving gifts to every child she finds. Over time, she came to realize that the Christ Child can be found in every child.

Join the Italian Community Center at Holiday Folk Fair International 2024 at Wisconsin's State Fair Park

Our Culture Committee will be putting together a fabulous Culture Booth celebrating the theme
Tradizione Vivente the Adult Italian Dance Group will be organizing the Italian Food Booth and will be performing throughout the weekend along with I Be Bambini Children's Italian Dance Group

Gallery Night MKE - The Artists Within Series

Join us at the Italian Community Center for Gallery Night MKE featuring our Artist Within - Food Photographer - Grace Natoli Sheldon. Grace is a longtime Member of the Italian Community Center, and a volunteer for several events throughout they year including Italian Immersion Day, Carnevale, and the Italian Heritage Exhibit at Festa Italiana.
Grace Natoli Sheldon has been photographing food for over 40 years – from airport menus to cookbooks to magazine covers – her work is internationally-known! Continually, she is invited to exhibit at top art fairs around the country.
Her signature photographic food still life images (through #GracesKitchenArt – available on Etsy) have been exhibited at the New York Museum of Fine Art, Los Angeles Institute of Art, and the Milwaukee Art Museum.
In addition to having earned numerous awards, she has been chosen as a Featured Artist, multiple times, by Milwaukee Public Television’s Art Auction.
To tie into the theme of food, the ICC will offer a corresponding Member’s Room Activity during Gallery Night – fresh pasta dough will be rolled through pasta machines, and our guests may participate in a hands-on pasta shaping activity – simply being taught how to make the various shapes of pasta. Our guests take home their freshly shaped pasta!

Student Immersion Day
On Wednesday October 2nd we will host MPS students for Immersion Day!
The students will go through the same process of Immigration as our Italian & Sicilian ancestors did. They will take part in mini classes learning pasta making, Bocce ball, and Italian Dance. A traditional Italian meal will be served and they will enjoy live music during their experience
