Join us as we gather once again to celebrate la tavola (table) di San Giuseppe. This tradition dates back to the Middle Ages when people would set a table filled with food to honor St. Joseph after a period of drought and famine. It serves to express gratitude to St. Joseph for his intervention by sharing food with those in need, making it a symbol of generosity and community.

Fr. Tim Kitzke and Vincent Noth of Kinship Community will share a few words after supper on our devotion to St. Joseph and the tradition of feeding the hungry.

Invited by the Wise Men to visit Baby Jesus, la Befana packed a basket with baked goods and gifts for the newborn child and grabbed her broom to help the new mother with cleaning. 

After walking a long distance, angels appeared and gave her the gift of flight. She hopped on her broom and continued to search for the Christ Child.  She is still searching to this very day, and every Epiphany, she visits homes throughout Italy, giving gifts to every child she finds.  Over time, she came to realize that the Christ Child can be found in every child.
